Community Hub
As a response to the cost of living increases we will be opening the chapel in Hesket Newmarket for people to make use of every Tuesday. Come along and spend some time with your friends in a warm and welcoming environment. We will be serving free drinks throughout the day and a soup and roll is available for lunch. If you prefer you can bring your own food to eat.
We will be open between 10:30am and 3pm and there is no cost.
Our thanksgiving service this year will be on September 18 at 10:30am at Caldbeck village hall. There will tea and coffee served after the service and we look forward to seeing you there.
Following the relaxation of covid regulations we have started meeting in the Village Hall in Caldbeck. This venue provides us with more space to allow a degree of continued social distancing. It also provides more space for our Junior church classes so that our young people are less cramped and have space to play games. We continue to provide services via zoom for people who are unable to attend in person.
It may have taken a while but we are now starting to add content to our new website. Unfortunately it could be a while before we have it back to the same state as the previous one but we are working on it as fast as we can. Please bear with us.
